Invisible apple cake a recipe for making good and simple apple cake, an all apple cake and little dough, in fact to prepare it you need a lot of apples, while the dough needs only a few ingredients, the apples must be thinly sliced, flavor with lemon juice and cinnamon and then pour the dough, off to the oven and in no time a genuine and fragrant cake is ready, a dessert with apples that tastes good, moist, soft, creamy, a treat for the palate, great for breakfast or snack, just like the one that grandmothers and mothers used to prepare for us.

Ingredients for Invisible Apple Cake:

For an 18 cm (7-inch) tin/pan

  • 4 apples
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 70 g (2/3 cup or 2.5 oz) plain flour / all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup or 3.5 fl oz) milk
  • 20 g (1.5 tablespoons or 0.7 oz) butter
  • 1 sachet (about 7 g or 1 1/2 teaspoons) baking powder
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Ground cinnamon (start with 1/2 teaspoon, adjust to taste)

How to make Invisible apple pie recipe with lots of apples and little dough:

  1. Peel and slice the apples very thinly with a knife or, if you prefer, a mandoline.
  2. Place the sliced apples in a bowl and add the lemon juice, cinnamon, and mix.
  3. Prepare the batter for the apple pie.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat the milk, add the butter, and let it melt.
  5. In a bowl, put the eggs with the sugar and mix with a hand or electric whisk.
  6. Add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix until smooth and lump-free.
  7. Finally, add the warm milk and stir.
  8. Pour the mixture over the apples and stir gently with a spatula.
  9. Place the apple cake batter in the buttered cake pan and bake the invisible apple cake in a static oven at 180°C (350 °F) for about 40 minutes.
  10. Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely before removing it from the mold.
  11. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar and cinnamon if you like.
