If you also use the oven intensively, you will certainly have had to deal with dirt and grease that accumulates on the walls and grates and becomes hard due to the heat, making it difficult to remove. To clean the oven, we generally use industrial degreasers or other special products, almost all of which are effective, but very harmful to health. Below we recommend three natural tips for cleaning and thoroughly scrubbing the oven.

Disinfect and clean the oven with salt

Salt is an ingredient we all have in our kitchen that not only adds flavor to our dishes, but is also very useful for household cleaning thanks to its degreasing and disinfecting properties.

  • Mix half a quart of white vinegar with ½ lb. of salt. Pour this solution into a spray bottle and shake it well to dissolve the salt.
  • Spray the solution all over the surface and inside of the oven and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes. Then clean with a sponge to remove stubborn dirt.
  • Finally, wipe with a damp cloth to remove all residue and make the oven look like new.
