How hard it is to deal with the cleaning of window frames! In times when it starts to rain more frequently, we find ourselves having to pay attention to dirt every day, both on the window frames and on the glass! Fortunately, there are many methods that can help and remove dirt in a short time and, most importantly, effectively. Let’s take a look together at all the tricks you need to know to say goodbye to fouling on window frames for good!

Yellow soap

Yellow soap is an old Grandma’s trick that never disappoints when you need to send away encrusted dirt! Its coconut oil-based composition also makes it perfect for whitening and removing encrustation from fixtures and especially corners. All you will need to do is take a small ball of the product and adhere it well into the non-abrasive part of the sponge. Next soak it in some very hot water and rub it vigorously on the fixtures, then rinse well removing all soap residue and there you go!

White vinegar

We cannot mention white vinegar when we talk about cleaning any area of the house! Just like yellow soap, vinegar has an especially loved degreasing power and will make everything quick and easy. Fill a bucket with very hot water and 1 cup of vinegar, then dip a sponge or microfiber cloth inside and proceed to degrease all affected areas. After that, simply rinse and immediately the fixtures will be perfect again and as good as new!

Baking soda paste

Baking soda paste is a great trick that will not only send away stubborn dirt, but will also whiten the fixtures, making them shiny! You will need to put 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a small bowl and add water, stirring constantly until you get a paste with the consistency of a gel. Put this mixture on a sponge or toothbrush and clean the entire perimeter of the fixtures, which will turn white in 2 seconds. Afterwards all you have to do is rinse and goodbye dirt!

Bar soap

Similar to baking soda, bar soap is also a fantastic remedy not only for cleaning fixtures but also for scenting them! You will need to grate about 2 tablespoons of soap into a bowl and combine it with very hot water to make a liquid mixture. Then spread the mixture on a sponge or even on a toothbrush and proceed to degrease all the affected areas. The cleanliness and scent will make this trick unique! Alternatively, you can simply put soap flakes in a bucket with warm water and use it throughout the cleaning.

Lemon juice

Let’s finish the tips for getting fixtures as good as new with lemon juice, a scented and effective remedy. You can rub half a lemon directly on the fixtures and then rinse, already you will see that the stains will go away quietly. Alternatively, fill a bucket with water and 1 cup of lemon juice, then use the solution to clean the fixtures. The scent will waft throughout the house and will be great for freshening up and making the balcony white and shiny!
