  • Then rinse with clean water!

How to clean floor grout with toothpaste and white vinegar?

For greater effectiveness toothpaste can be combined with other natural products with cleansing and disinfecting properties. At the top of the list is white vinegar. This multipurpose product is perfect for giving a second life to the dirty grout on your kitchen or bathroom tiles. All you need and:

  • 3 quarts of lukewarm water
  • 4 tablespoons of detergent
  • One cup of white vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons of toothpaste

Proceed as flollows:

  1. First, mix the toothpaste with 1 quart of water until you get a homogeneous solution.
  2. Add the white vinegar and mix again.
  3. Add the dishwashing liquid and then pour another 2 liters of lukewarm water into the bucket.
  4. Scrub the floor gently with a soft brush or cloth. For tile grout, a simple toothbrush might do the trick.
  5. All you need to do is rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Your floor will finally regain all its shine!  And then it will smell clean and minty fresh.

Another cleaning tip: how to clean the windows with toothpaste?

Just like cleaning the floor, cleaning the windows can be a real chore. Unless, of course, you make the right product choice. And why not get out the toothpaste tube and try another special window trick? Here are the steps you need to follow to get a flawless result:

  • Spread a small amount of toothpaste on a clean, soft sponge or cloth (preferably choose a non-abrasive product);
  • Moisten your windows with a spray bottle;
  • Rub the glass in a circular motion with a cloth soaked in toothpaste;
  • Then remove excess water and product with a squeegee.
  • Wipe the glass again with a microfiber cloth if necessary.

Toothpaste is a natural and safe cleaning agent. Thanks to its soft and slightly abrasive side, it is particularly effective in removing stubborn stains and dirt from glass surfaces.
