How to proceed after all this? Quite simply, after following the instructions given earlier, you need to take a pan and pour in 4 cups of granulated sugar, which is a total amount of about 2 lbs. And then to the sugar in question you need to add three glasses of watermelon rind juice. In total, about 1 pint of juice. And again, spices need to be added to the sugar and juice. More precisely, 5-6 cloves. All the ingredients in question must be cooked together over low heat until the mixture thickens.

In the meantime, you need to add other ingredients. And exactly half a spoonful of butter, the juice of half a lemon and watermelon rinds previously cooked in the oven. They, in turn, need to cook for about 1 hour on low heat. However, be careful not to throw away the remaining part of the remaining watermelon rind juice, as it can be used later.

By using the fruit and thus the part of the watermelon that is normally consumed, you can prepare a very tasty drink in the meantime. Simply take a few pieces of fruit and put them in a blender to prepare a delicious watermelon drink. The resulting mixture is then filtered to remove any remaining residue and can finally be drunk.
